I toured with the Ozric Tentacles in 2004. We played primarily in the USA and did a few shows in Europe. I had been friends with John Egan (flautist) for a long while and when their keyboard player of many years, Seaweed, left the band I got a call. I was very excited as The Ozrics were a band that I had listened to for many years.
I went and had a meeting with Ed (co-founder) and John at Abbey Road, where they were putting final mixing/mastering touches on their latest album. We discussed similar musical influences (King Crimson, Kraan) and experiences and that was that really. On board with the Ozrics.............
