I toured with Marianne Faithfull in 2004. I have known her for a long time and have memories of snuggling up on the sofa with my sister and her and watching The Simpsons on cold winter nights. She would stay for a few days at a time and would listen to me if I was playing or practicing whilst growing up.
One summer she visited, and during dinner Francois (her manager and partner) mentioned that he had been discussing personnel for her next tour and would I be interested in joining them as piano player in the band. I accepted straight away and soon went on a six week tour of Europe.
